Variations in the temperature response of photosynthesis among nine common tree species planted in Singapore
收藏资源简介:
Corrected dataset for the data used for the preprint "Variations in the temperature response of photosynthesis among nine common tree species planted in Singapore" (URL: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.10.19.618612v1). The CO2 response curves of nine tropical tree species under five temperatures (30-34°C). Notes on the correction: Intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) is a variable that cannot be directly measured by the equipment (Li-Cor 6800). Instead, it is calculated by the instrument using photosynthetic rate (An), transpiration (E), and air vapor pressure deficit (VPD). Due to internal issues with the water vapor sensors of our equipment, some E values were erroneous and therefore the corresponding values of Ci were identified as unreliable. In downstream analyses, we adopted an approach where Ci was approximated as 0.8 * Ca, where Ca denotes air CO2 concentration. This ratio of 0.8 is a typical value for humid tropical forests based on previous studies. No raw data were removed. Instead, estimated Ci values are provided in the corrected dataset. Users are advised to treat water-related measurements with caution and use the corrected dataset for reproducible analyses. The previous version (raw files, https://zenodo.org/records/15313887) is retained for transparency.
