Dataset for: Morphological and ecogeographical characterization of potato wild relatives collected in Ecuador

A total of 91 accessions representing eight wild Solanum species (S. acaule, S. albicans, S. albornozii, S. andreanum, S. chilliasense, S.chomatophilum, S. colombianum and S. minutifoliolum) collected and preserved at the National Germplasm Bank, INIAP in Ecuador were comprehensive characterized involved the utilization of 39 morphological descriptors under controlled greenhouse conditions. The data collection spanned various developmental stages of the plants.

本研究共涉及由厄瓜多尔国家种质资源库（National Germplasm Bank，INIAP）收集并保藏的8个野生茄属（Solanum）物种的91份种质材料，所涉物种分别为：矮生茄（S. acaule）、白绒茄（S. albicans）、阿尔沃诺兹茄（S. albornozii）、安德烈茄（S. andreanum）、奇利亚斯茄（S. chilliasense）、嗜色茄（S. chomatophilum）、哥伦比亚茄（S. colombianum）以及小叶茄（S. minutifoliolum）。所有材料均在受控温室环境下，采用39项形态学描述符（morphological descriptors）完成全面表型鉴定，数据采集覆盖了该类植物的多个生长发育阶段。
