ACS Household Income Distribution by Boundary
收藏资源简介:
Overview This feature service provides American Community Survey household income distribution data for U.S. administrative boundaries. It brings together state, county, and census tract polygon layers with household income counts, margins of error, and calculated summary percentages, supporting demographic mapping and socioeconomic analysis. Feature Layers State: State-level boundaries with geographic identifiers, area measurements, and household income distribution estimates for income brackets from under $10,000 through $200,000 or more, along with calculated totals for households below $75,000 and at least $100,000. County: County-level boundaries with the same household income distribution variables, organized for county-based comparison of income patterns across the United States. Tract: Census tract boundaries with household income distribution estimates and calculated summary fields, providing fine-grained neighborhood-scale insight into household income composition. Geographic Coverage The service covers the United States and its associated state, county, and census tract geographies. The layers support analysis across multiple boundary scales within a national census framework. Use Cases Mapping household income distribution by geography Comparing lower-, middle-, and higher-income household shares across regions Supporting demographic and socioeconomic planning Creating choropleth maps and summary dashboards for census-based analysis Data Characteristics The layers include geographic identifiers, area measurements, and American Community Survey household income estimates with margins of error.
