资源简介:
Temperature is one of the important factors affecting metal corrosion in marine environment. The effect of temperature on tribocorrosion behavior of Monel 400 alloy is studied in this paper. The results show that compared with the mechanical wear condition, the corrosion product layer with anti-wear effect is formed on the surface of the alloy during tribocorrosion condition, which reduces the wear rate by nearly one third. As the temperature increases, the covering area of corrosion product layer increases. However, the wear rate and friction coefficient of the alloy at higher temperature are not reduced. It is attributed to the decrease of seawater viscosity at higher temperature, resulting in poor fluid lubrication performance of seawater.
