FSAS datasets are shown by the collection site and date measurements were performed; see associated cruise reports for cruise-specific information on how and when these data were collected. Generally, FSAS grids are composed of 4 to 5 line transects, with the survey grid centered on the bottom-lander at the given AEON site. Transducer depth is set to 1 m below the surface, the approximate depth at which the towfish (to which the transducers were mounted) was towed.Each .csv file is the survey data at a single frequency, for all transect lines. The AEON network of five observation nodes complements existing oceanographic monitoring infrastructure in the Gulf of Maine. The observatory network provides simultaneous, long-term monitoring of soundscapes and multiple acoustically-relevant parameters such as marine mammal behavior and prey concentration at key locations where changes in the Labrador and Gulf Stream currents are projected to affect the Gulf of Maine.The lead P.I. for this project is Dr. Jennifer Miksis-Olds, University of New Hampshire (UNH). 本数据集采集自美国西北大西洋海域的声学与环境观测网络(Acoustic and Environmental Observation Network, AEON),该网络于2021年部署并投入运行。AEON网络包含5个观测节点,可补充缅因湾现有的海洋学监测基础设施。该观测网络可同步开展长期监测,涵盖声景以及多项声学相关参数,例如拉布拉多洋流与墨西哥湾流变化预计将影响缅因湾的关键区域内的海洋哺乳动物行为与猎物集中度。
