Its position is determined by the methodology used to input into the Topographic Database. The Lot and Property data was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at the map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:00000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. Feature heights have been derived from LiDAR elevation sources including 1m and 2m DEMS. The data used to create the DEMs have an accuracy of 0.3m (95% Confidence Interval) vertical and 0.8m (95% Confidence Interval) horizontal. 精度说明:本数据集与宗地与房产数字数据集保持空间位置关联与对齐。宗地与房产数据通过数字化现有最佳地籍测绘成果获取,比例尺与精度范围依据澳大利亚国家测绘委员会1975年《地图精度标准》,覆盖1:500至1:250000。据此,90%的明确定义要素点的位置误差在对应比例尺下的0.5毫米范围内,具体换算为:1:500比例尺对应0.25米,1:2000对应1米,1:4000对应2米,1:25000对应12.5米,1:50000对应25米,1:00000对应50米。当前正开展空间位置精度提升项目。要素高程信息源自激光雷达(LiDAR)高程数据源,包括1米与2米分辨率的数字高程模型(DEMs)。用于生成DEMs的数据精度为:垂直方向95%置信区间内0.3米,水平方向95%置信区间内0.8米。要素的垂直精度同样受其所处视野范围影响。
