Press forming results including deformation measurements for unidirectional thermoplastic composite laminates

Truncated hemisphere parts were press formed with two commercially available unidirectional thermoplastic composite materials in a variety of layups. This dataset may serve as a reference for validation of composite forming simulations. A comprehensive validation is enabled since the dataset provides information on wrinkling location and severity, in-plane deformation and variability for a selection of parts with different layup, material and geometry.

采用两种商用单向热塑性复合材料（unidirectional thermoplastic composite materials），以多种铺层方式对截半球成型部件开展了冲压成型加工。本数据集可作为复合材料成型仿真验证的参考依据。由于该数据集涵盖了不同铺层、材料及几何形状的多款选定部件的起皱位置与严重程度、面内变形及变异性相关数据，因此可开展全面的成型仿真验证工作。
