TOGA COARE soundings from Funafuti. Version 1.0

This dataset consists of sounding data from Funafuti, Tuvalu (WMO 91643). Soundings were taken twice daily (00 and 12 UTC) during the IOP. UCAR/JOSS conducted no quality control on these data. This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude taken at 10 second vertical intervals. Refer to the station README file for details. NOTE: This dataset has been updated (5/2/2002) with corrected data for the humidity measurement errors of the Vaisala RS 80 radiosonde (Wang et al 2002). Please see the README for details.

本数据集收录图瓦卢富纳富提气象站（世界气象组织编号WMO 91643）的探空数据。在加密观测期（Intensive Observation Period, IOP）内，该站每日开展两次探空观测，观测时间为协调世界时（Coordinated Universal Time, UTC）00时与12时。大学大气研究联合会（University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, UCAR）与JOSS未对本数据集实施任何质量控制流程。本数据集包含以10秒垂直间隔采集的气压、气温、露点温度、相对湿度、风速、风向及高度数据。详细信息请参阅该气象站配套的README文件。注意：本数据集已于2002年5月2日完成更新，针对维萨拉（Vaisala）RS 80型无线电探空仪（radiosonde）的湿度测量误差修正了对应数据（Wang等，2002）。相关细节请参阅README文件。
