A total of 1476 clinical isolates of carbapenem-resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa were obtained between 2012 and 2016 in 47 prefectures in Japan. The presence of carbapenem resistant genes, including blaGESs, blaIMPs, blaNDMs, blaOXAs and blaVIMs, were determined using PCR and sequence. Of them, 104 isolates harbored blaGES-5. The all 104 isolates were analyzed by next generation sequencer.
