Phase 1: Warrandyte to Kinglake Habitat Corridor Project

Phase 1 of the Warrandyte to Kinglake Habitat Corridor project focuses on the public reserve system within the corridor. Similar to the National Threatened Species Strategy, it follows an approach of science, action and partnerships. In each reserve the Green Army team will scientifically survey for the presence of threatened species and threats to those species. This will give them an improved understanding of the impact of their ecological restoration actions.The project is based on an ongoing partnership between Nillumbik Shire Council and Parks Victoria. The team will also support a partnership with the Wurundjeri people and the general community by working with community groups and installing interpretive signage and artwork.
