Effects of calcium carbonate against fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda

This study aimed to investigate the lethal and sublethal effects of calcium carbonate against Fall Armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda. Four experiments have been conducted against this insect pest including a direct contact test, no-choice feeding test, choice feeding test, and oviposition test. Observations were conducted on insect mortality, feeding inhibition, larval period, pupal weight, abnormal pupae, and oviposition inhibition.
