资源简介:

This dataset contains output from Community Earth System Model (CESM) ensemble simulations used in the study “Barents-Kara Sea Ice Variability Drives Stronger Tropospheric Anomalies over East Asia after 2000 due to Weakened Stratospheric Polar Vortex.” Each NetCDF file provides results from four experimental groups (HBKSice_SPVheating, HBKSice_WPVheating, LBKSice_SPVheating, and LBKSice_WPVheating; see manuscript) with 438 ensemble members per group. Variable names in each file indicate the experimental configuration: HBKSice and LBKSice correspond to high and low Barents–Kara Sea (BKS) sea ice boundary conditions, while SPVheating and WPVheating denote strong and weak stratospheric polar vortex forcing, respectively. The dataset includes the following files: z50hPa_Feb.nc – February mean geopotential height at 50 hPa. z500hPa_Feb.nc – February mean geopotential height at 500 hPa. ZcapDaily.nc – Daily evolution of geopotential height from 1 to 1000 hPa north of 60°N. PlumbFx50-70N_Feb.nc – February mean zonal component of Plumb wave flux averaged over 50–70°N. PlumbFz50-70N_Feb.nc – February mean meridional component of Plumb wave flux averaged over 50–70°N. t700_850hPa_Feb.nc – February mean temperature at 700 and 850 hPa. z50-70N_Feb.nc – February mean geopotential height averaged over 50–70°N. Detailed information on the CESM model configuration and experimental design is provided in the Methods section of the associated publication.
