Analysis of differentially expressed genes in Scd1-deficient CD4+ naïve T cells. The goal of this study was to elucidate the underlying pathway of Scd1-deficiency leading to increased regulatory T cell differentiation. Overall design: CD4+ T cells were purified from splenocytes (collected from 11-week-old wild-type and Scd1-deficient C57BL/6 mice) using magnetic separation. Subsequent fluorescence-activated cell sorted naïve T cells (CD4+ CD44med CD25- CD62L+) were lysed using QIAzol.
