Barro Colorado Island, AVA tower.Mean vector, wind direction<br>Established in Mar, 2011 as part of the ForestGEO Tropical Ecology, Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM) project.<br>The original tower was Located near the center of the island at the north west corner of the 50ha plot (9.1568°, -79.8486°).<br>In 2018 this tower was struck by a tree fall and rendered unusable.<br>In Feb. 2019 a new 45m tower was build close by (9.1568°, -79.8486°). <br>

初代观测塔位于该岛中部附近的50公顷样地西北角，地理坐标为北纬9.1568°、西经79.8486°
2018年，该塔被倒伏树木撞击后丧失使用功能
2019年2月，一座全新的45米高观测塔在原址附近重建，地理坐标与初代塔一致，为北纬9.1568°、西经79.8486°
