This dataset contains three dimensional (3D) reconstructions of laboratory soil surfaces eroding under rainfall simulation experiments. Experiments were conducted using the Walnut Gulch Rainfall Simulator at the USDA-ARS Southwest Watershed Research Center in Tucson, Arizona. A terrestrial laser scanner was used to collect soil surface 3D data.
