The dissipation rates of the basic second-order moments are the key parameters controlling turbulence energetics and spectra, turbulent fluxes of momentum and heat, and playing a vital role in turbulence modelling. Here, we publish the results of Direct Numerical Simulations of stably stratified turbulent plane Couette flow, which are used to evaluate dissipation rates of the basic second-order moments and revise the energy and flux-budget turbulence closure theory for stably stratified turbulence.
基本二阶矩的耗散率是控制湍流能量学、湍流谱以及动量与热量湍流通量的核心参数,同时在湍流建模中发挥着至关重要的作用。本数据集公开了稳定分层湍流平面库埃特流的直接数值模拟(Direct Numerical Simulations)结果,该结果可用于估算基本二阶矩的耗散率,并修正适用于稳定分层湍流的能量与通量预算湍流闭合理论。
