This dataset contains water level well data for the Lake Fitzpatrick 1 (MABG3/1) well site. This site is located within the Mount Annan cluster of well sites. The geospatial location is: Latitude: -34.07587578 Longitude: 150.7666722, with an elevation 145m (AHD). The well has a drilled depth of 21.0 metres below ground level.
Data was collected using Solinst Junior levellogger data loggers and YSI 6600 data sonde. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), and Picarro Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) was used for chemical and isotope analysis.
This data was collected between July 2011 and July 2013 to study and develop a conceptual model of shallow groundwater in Western Sydney which explains the observed geochemistry, the source of the groundwater, and the recharge and discharge of the groundwater.
This dataset and associated research was funded by the New South Wales Department of Primary Industry.
