Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. narcissi strain:N139 Genome sequencing and assembly

Fusarium oxysporum causes wilts and rots on a broad range of host crops and is considered one of the most scientifically important plant pathogens. Isolates are separated into formae specialis based upon their adaption to particular hosts. Host adaptation has occurred through acquisition of lineage specific chromosomes containing suites of pathogenicity genes. We report the draft genome of the daffodil pathogen F. oxysporum f. sp. narcissi as well and identify putative lineage specific genes for further investigation.
