IODP Expedition 368X Subsea camera (VIT)

The Vibration Isolated Television Optic Fiber equipment provides visual observation of the seafloor during reentry of an existing borehole. An altimeter mounted to the frame provides accurate height of the VIT frame above the seafloor. An underwater color camera with pan, tilt, and zoom functionality is used for surveying the seafloor and examining mechanical devices.

隔振式电视光纤设备（Vibration Isolated Television Optic Fiber equipment）可在现有钻孔的重返作业过程中，对海底进行可视化观测。安装于该设备机架的高度计，可精准测得VIT机架距离海底的垂直高度。配备俯仰、旋转与变焦功能的水下彩色摄像机，可用于海底勘测以及机械设备的检测工作。
