本数据集包含2013年美国地质追踪（GEOTRACES）EPZT航次中采用4升法测得的水柱总钍-234（Th-234）数据。
本数据集同时测定了基于铀-盐度关系法得到的铀-238（U-238）数据，但未在本数据集中公开。此类数据可向首席研究员（PI）及/或数据集联系人申请获取。具体方法说明见下文。
