Seismotectonic Map of Bhuj Area

The Seismotectonic Map of the Bhuj area is a subset of the larger
Seismotectonic Map of India. The Bhuj area is of particular interest
due to the devastating earthquake that occurred on January 26, 2001.
On this map, the epicenter of the Bhuj earthquake is clearly marked
with a red star. Also included in this map are the locations of
significant faults in the area with a focal mechanisim solution.
Bouguer gravity anomalies are resoloved as well as basement depth.
Historic earthquakes and their parameters are recorded.
