This dataset contains phoneme alignments for 44.5K hours of English audio, generated using the Montreal Forced Aligner. The alignment data provides precise timing information for phonemes in each audio file, which is particularly useful for training Text-to-Speech (TTS) models that require accurate phoneme duration estimation. The dataset only provides TextGrid alignment files, and the audio files need to be downloaded separately from the Hugging Face repository parler-tts/mls_eng.
