Measurements of ommatidia count and diameter were taken on microscope images of eye molds or replicas of five ant species taken previously: Notoncus ectatommoides and Camponotus aeneopilosus (from Palavalli-Nettimi and Narendra (2018)), Myrmecia nigrocincta, M. tarsata, and Rhytidoponera inornata (from Palavalli-Nettimi et al. 本研究针对5种蚂蚁的眼模或复制品的显微图像,开展了小眼(ommatidia)数目与直径的测量,所用样本均为此前已获取的材料:分别为诺托努斯蚁(Notoncus ectatommoides)与金毛弓背蚁(Camponotus aeneopilosus,数据源自Palavalli-Nettimi及Narendra,2018年),以及黑带牛蚁(Myrmecia nigrocincta)、跗节牛蚁(M. tarsata)与无纹皱猛蚁(Rhytidoponera inornata,数据源自Palavalli-Nettimi等,2019年)。
