Impact of heat stress on the fitness outcomes of symbiotic infection in aphids: a meta-analysis

This is the dataset for the article "<em><strong>Impact of heat stress on the fitness outcomes of symbiotic infection in aphids: a meta-analysis</strong></em>". Beneficial symbiosis shape their host eco-evolutionary responses. Here we show how the responses of insect-microbe associations may be modulated by rising temperatures. The outcome of the symbiotic association is therefore temperature-dependent, but also trait-dependent. We show the importance of better understanding the cost-benefits balance of insect-microbe associations faced with climate change.
