VORTEX-SE_2017: Purdue University Mobile Radiosonde Data. Version 1.1

This data set contains vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, mixing ratio, wind speed, and wind direction from the University of Purdue mobile radiosonde system during the VORTEX-SE 2017 field season. Purdue released a total of 18 radiosondes from locations around northern Alabama on 25, 27, 28, and 30 March; 3, 5, 27, 28, and 30 April; and 1 May 2017. These data are available in either the original columnar ASCII format provided by Purdue or the EOL Sounding Composite Format.

本数据集收录普渡大学（University of Purdue）移动无线电探空系统（mobile radiosonde system）在VORTEX-SE 2017野外观测季期间获取的气压、气温、混合比、风速及风向垂直廓线数据。普渡大学于2017年3月25日、27日、28日、30日，4月3日、5日、27日、28日、30日以及5月1日，在阿拉巴马州北部周边区域共计施放18台无线电探空仪（radiosonde）。该数据集提供两种数据格式供用户获取：一是普渡大学原始提供的柱状ASCII格式（columnar ASCII format），二是EOL探空复合格式（EOL Sounding Composite Format）。
