MODIS is an important sensor onboard the Terra and Aqua satellites. It is the only satellite-borne instrument on these satellites that directly broadcasts real-time observation data to the entire world via the X-band, and whose data can be freely received and used without charge. MOD35 is an atmospheric Level 2 standard data product, which is the global 1KM daily cloud mask product.
