RNA messengers translated at the ER membrane

In order to identify what RNA messengers are being translated at the ER membrane, membrane-associated polysomes were separated from free polysomes by subcellular fractionation of WT and delta-egd1/delta-egd2 yeast strains and associated RNA was isolated and then identified by microarray analysis.为鉴定在内质网膜（Endoplasmic Reticulum, ER）上正在被翻译的信使RNA（RNA messengers），研究人员通过对野生型（Wild Type, WT）与Δegd1/Δegd2酵母菌株进行亚细胞分级分离，将膜结合多聚核糖体与游离多聚核糖体分离，随后提取其所结合的RNA，并通过微阵列分析（microarray analysis）对其进行鉴定。
