Transmembrane proteins are important for intercellular signaling and play important roles in the control of cell fate. However, many transmembrane proteins still lack of research. Recently, we identified a new transmembrane protein, TMEM182, which play significant roles on skeletal muscle development and regeneration. Here, we generated TMEM182 konckout mice and used RNA-seq to analyzed gene expression between the wild type and TMEM182-/- skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscle mRNA profiles of 9-week old wild type (WT) and tmem182-/- mice were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using BGISEQ-500
跨膜蛋白(transmembrane proteins)是细胞间信号传导的关键介导分子,同时在细胞命运调控中发挥核心作用。然而,目前仍有大量跨膜蛋白尚未得到充分研究。近期,本团队鉴定出一种新型跨膜蛋白TMEM182,其在骨骼肌发育与再生过程中具有重要调控功能。本研究构建了TMEM182基因敲除小鼠,并通过RNA测序(RNA-seq)技术对比分析了野生型与TMEM182-/-骨骼肌的基因表达谱。本研究采用BGISEQ-500平台对9周龄野生型(WT)及TMEM182-/-小鼠的骨骼肌mRNA进行深度测序,每组设置3次生物学重复。
