Transcriptomic profile of peripheral blood neutrophils in inflammatory bowel disease (Homo sapiens Raw sequence reads). Homo sapiens

Polymorphonuclear neutrophils were isolated from heparin-anticoagulated peripheral blood of patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (collectively referred to as inflammatory bowel disease, IBD), following Histopaque double-gradient density centrifugation. Their transcriptome was analyzed by RNA Sequencing. Healthy individuals with no history of IBD were included as controls in the study.
