The GPT-5-Model-Switch dataset is designed to train an open-source model selector that can dynamically choose the most suitable pre-trained model based on the type and complexity of the task, serving as an alternative to OpenAIs GPT-5. The dataset includes approximately 100,000 task input samples, each annotated with the task type and difficulty level, as well as annotations indicating the ideal model for each task. It also provides performance data for different models on corresponding tasks.
