In this project we aimed to analyze the transcriptomic consequences of overexpression of the deubiquitinase Yod1 in healthy Drosophila and in a fly model of Huntington's disease. We performed RNA-seq analysis of head samples of 5-day-old female flies carrying the pan-neuronal elav-GAL4 driver alone (control), or overexpressing Httex1.Q120, Yod1, or Httex1.Q120 and Yod1 simultaneously under the influence of elav-GAL4.
