Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury

The Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury (DC-TBI) was created by the TBI community to mitigate dark data in TBI research. The ODC-TBI also aims to increase transparency with individual-level data, enhance collaboration, facilitate advanced analytics, and conform to increasing mandates by funders and publishers to make data accessible. Members of the ODC-TBI have access to a private digital lab space managed by the PI or multi-PIs for dataset storage and sharing. The PIs can share their labs’ datasets with the registered members of the ODC-TBI community and make their datasets public and citable. The ODC-TBI implements stewardship principles that scientific data be made FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) and has been widely adopted by the international TBI research community.创伤性脑损伤开放数据通用库（Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury，缩写DC-TBI）由创伤性脑损伤（TBI）领域科研社群打造，旨在解决TBI研究中的暗数据问题。该库同时致力于提升个体层级数据的透明度、强化跨主体协作、推动高级数据分析，并顺应资助方与出版商日益增长的开放数据可访问性要求。DC-TBI的注册成员可访问由首席研究员（Principal Investigator，简称PI）或多位首席研究员管理的私密数字实验室空间，用于数据集的存储与共享。首席研究员可将其所属实验室的数据集共享给DC-TBI社群的注册成员，也可将数据集公开并使其具备可引用性。DC-TBI遵循科学数据应符合FAIR（Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable，即可发现、可访问、可互操作、可复用）的管理准则，目前已被国际TBI研究社群广泛采纳。
