A winter monsoon to ENSO transition in the control of primary productivity in the northern South China Sea

This dataset comprises productivity and other proxy records from core XSJ02 in the northern South China Sea since the Last Glacial Period. It contains five CSV files: chronological.csv: Age-depth model. TOC.csv: Total organic carbon content. major_and_trace_elements.csv: Major and trace element data. provenance_contribution.csv: Provenance contribution data. d18O.csv: Planktonic foraminiferal oxygen isotope data. These data were used to investigate the variations in productivity and their controlling mechanisms in the northern South China Sea.
