Dataset of Multiple Water Quality Parameters Measured in a Drinking Water Distribution System

Data was gathered through the deployment of two distinct monitoring systems across four varying locations and connection types. The observation periods spanned from several weeks to several months. Specifically, the YSI EXO 3 monitoring system was placed at three different locations and affixed to fire hydrants, and the ATI MetriNet Q52 system was affixed to a service line within an academic building. These sensors captured multiple water quality parameters, including temperature, conductivity, specific conductivity, turbidity, fDOM, pH, ORP, and combined chlorine, at 5-minute intervals throughout the observation period. The data is split in to five separate datasets. Each dataset is stored in the .csv file format and named dataset_#, where # is the number of the dataset. Each dataset is formatted with labeled columns and values in the appropriate units. Additional supplementary datasets are provided that include the maintenance logs for the YSI and ATI sensors. A Python code is also included to read the data and create time series plots for each parameter.

本数据集通过在四类不同场景与连接类型下的四个监测点位部署两套独立监测系统采集所得，观测周期跨度为数周至数月不等。其中，YSI EXO 3监测系统被部署于三个点位，并安装于消防栓之上；ATI MetriNet Q52监测系统则安装于某学术建筑内的服务管线中。上述传感器在整个观测周期内以5分钟的采样间隔，采集了温度、电导率、比电导率、浊度、fDOM、pH、ORP以及化合氯等多项水质参数。本次采集的数据被划分为五个独立数据集，均以.csv文件格式存储，命名格式为dataset_#，其中#代表对应数据集的编号。每个数据集均配备带明确标签的列名，并采用适配的单位标注各项数值。此外，本数据集还附带了YSI与ATI传感器的维护日志类补充数据集，同时配套提供了一段Python代码，可用于读取数据并为各项监测参数生成时序折线图。
