This file contains the contours Lnight (50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 dB) in 2021. This dataset shows the noise load of provincial roads in the province of Groningen. The map stems from legal obligations (of the Environmental Management Act). The dataset must be updated every 5 years. The data present the contours at an observational height of 4 meters. The data relate to the annual average situation in 2021. Traffic intensities are not constant, and interventions can take place on and around the roads, thus altering the noise load. When it comes to small shifts in traffic intensities, this will have little impact on noise.
