A dataset for the relationship between the prosome length of copepods and sea surface temperature

This dataset is a subset of the extensive copepod trait dataset of Brun et al. (2016)(https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.862968). The subset that I have extracted uses 21 references of <em>Calanus</em> species from non-polar biomes<em> </em>to estimate an empirical relationship of copepod prosome length with SST that has the best regression coefficient (<em>R²</em>)<em></em>possible. <em>Calanus</em> organisms are present in all marine environments and usually constitute 70% by mass of all net-collected zooplankton (Lalli &amp; Parsons, 1993).
