The Arctic serves as a critical cold source for global climate change, and the impacts of Arctic eco-environmental changes on global climate change have emerged as a hotspot in polar research. From 1999 to 2014, China conducted six Arctic scientific expeditions, with survey areas ranging from 52°42′N to 88°24′N and 19°17′W to 143°30′W, covering the Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea, Canadian Basin, Nordic Seas, and Arctic high-latitude marine areas. This study compiled CTD data from 640 data collection stations (with 86, 115, 120, 130, 99, and 90 stations for the 1st through 6th expeditions respectively) acquired during China’s six Arctic marine expeditions. Based on cruise field logs and using specialized data processing software, the study unified, standardized, and removed outliers from data collected by different instruments with varying resolutions, ultimately establishing a dataset containing seven hydrological parameters: pressure, depth, temperature, salinity, density, sound speed, and potential temperature. This dataset is the scientific output of China’s six Arctic expeditions, providing fundamental hydrological data for interdisciplinary Arctic research. The dataset is stored in .dat format, with a compressed size of 11.5 MB.
