A 1°×1° atmospheric water vapor content (atmospheric precipitable water) dataset along the Belt and Road regions from 1979 to 2019 was constructed by integrating ground-based radiosonde observation data and multiple reanalysis datasets. This dataset is designed to support research on the spatial distribution, temporal evolution and long-term trends of atmospheric precipitable water, providing foundational data for revealing its spatio-temporal variation patterns and regional differences.
