Podocyrtis Image Dataset

Image dataset of the eight radiolarian species belonging to the middle Eocene genus of Podocyrtis. Images comes from ODP Leg 207, at the Demerara Rise outside the coast of Surinam and French Guyana, northwestern South America. These images were used for automatic image recognition by using convolutional neural networks.

本数据集包含隶属于始新世中期波多西里特虫属（Podocyrtis）的8种放射虫的图像数据。图像采集自南美洲西北部苏里南与法属圭亚那外海的德马拉拉海隆（Demerara Rise）区域的大洋钻探计划（Ocean Drilling Program, ODP）第207航次。该批图像曾被用于基于卷积神经网络（Convolutional Neural Networks）的自动图像识别任务。
