- Located in Kozloduy, Bulgaria - Sculpted by Stefan Peychev in 1939 - The monument commemorates the heroic sacrifice of [Hristo Botev](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hristo_Botev) and his military detachment in the battles for Bulgaria's independancy from the Ottoman Empire in the end of the 19th century.
