Population scenarios Basel-Stadt 2023-2045

The population scenarios provide small-scale results at the level of constituencies of the city of Basel and together for the municipalities of Riehen and Bettingen. In addition to the absolute population development, the scenarios also represent the development of the population structure until 2045: The population is expelled by age, gender and nationality (Switzerland and abroad). There are also various demographic components such as births and deaths, naturalisations or migration movements available. Due to reporting delays, the zero-year-olds in data years of the past are slightly underestimated.
