The sleep assay data after N6-(2-hydroxyethyl) adenosine treatment in mice

The effect of N6-(2-hydroxyethyl) adenosine (HEA) was compared with that of estazolam using a short-term treatment of insomnia model. At two doses, 16 and 32 mg/kg, significant effects (P<0.01, P<0.05, respectively) were identified, similar to those in the estazolam group. HEA reduced autonomous activity in mice, shortened the time before sleep and extended the sleep time in a dose-dependent manner.

本研究采用短期失眠模型，对比了N6-(2-羟乙基)腺苷（HEA）与艾司唑仑（estazolam）的药效差异。在16 mg/kg和32 mg/kg两个给药剂量下，分别观测到显著效应（P<0.01、P<0.05），其作用效果与艾司唑仑组相似。HEA可降低小鼠自主活动、缩短睡眠潜伏期，并以剂量依赖性方式延长睡眠时长。
