Dataset on Navigation ability in young, middle-aged and older adults: different domains of knowledge and their relationship with visuospatial factors

87 participants, grouped by age: 30 young (20-30 years; 15 females); 27 middle-aged (55-64 years; 16 females); and 30 older (65-75 years; 15 females).<br> Information about: <br>- age, sex, education, MoCA, vocabulary - visuospatial working memory task (jigsaw puzzle test), Embedded Figure Test - questionnaires on wayfinding inclinations: sense of direction and spatial representation scale; attitudes toward orientation task scale (pleasure in exploring places) - Navigation performance: landmark recognition, route repetition, shortest path finding, egocentric and allocentric pointing, landmark order, map drawing tasks.<br>

本数据集共招募87名参与者，按年龄划分为三组：青年组30名（20~30岁，其中女性15名）；中年组27名（55~64岁，其中女性16名）；老年组30名（65~75岁，其中女性15名）。所采集的信息包括：
- 人口学与基础认知指标：年龄、性别、受教育程度、蒙特利尔认知评估量表（Montreal Cognitive Assessment, MoCA）得分、词汇能力测评结果
- 认知任务表现：视觉空间工作记忆任务（拼图测试）、镶嵌图形测验（Embedded Figure Test）
- 寻路倾向相关问卷：方向感与空间表征量表、定向任务态度量表（探索场所的愉悦感维度）
- 导航行为表现：地标识别、路线重复、最短路径寻路、自我中心与异中心指向、地标顺序判断、地图绘制任务
