2013 - 2013 Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas) Survey : CHMR 2/13 (part of Western English Channel Groundfish Survey using Charter Vessels Bogey 1 and Carhelmar, Qtr 4 (FSS: CARHELMAR))

This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the Western English Channel Groundfish Survey using Charter Vessels Bogey 1 and Carhelmar, Qtr 4 (FSS: CARHELMAR); This survey series ran from 1984 to 2013. The aim was to provide fisheries independent abundance indices of all age groups of sole and plaice which are used in assessment working groups to tune the ICES stock assessment and to estimate recruitment. The survey was undertaken annually. Fifty eight trawl stations on the main sole grounds in the English waters of the Western English Channel were fished and sampled. Surveys were carried out on chartered commercial fishing vessels with Cefas staff on board. Survey took place between 13/10/2013 and 19/10/2013 on Carhelmar Equipment used during this survey : - Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 75mm CE 40mm liner PORT - Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 75mm CE 40mm liner STAR Survey operations were undertaken on 58 stations 113 different species were caught on this survey本调查由英国环境、渔业与水产养殖科学中心（Cefas）作为西英海峡底层鱼类调查的一部分实施，使用包租渔船Bogey 1与Carhelmar，于第四季度开展作业，配套渔业采样系统FSS: CARHELMAR； 该调查系列的实施周期为1984年至2013年，其目标是获取鳎鱼与鲽鱼各年龄组的渔业独立丰度指数，该指数将被用于评估工作组，以调整国际海洋考察理事会（ICES）的种群评估模型并估算种群补充量。本调查为年度例行调查，在西英海峡英国管辖水域的主要鳎鱼渔场布设58个拖网采样站位并开展作业与采样。所有调查均由包租的商业捕捞渔船执行，船上配备Cefas科研人员。 本次具体调查的实施时间为2013年10月13日至2013年10月19日，作业船舶为Carhelmar号。 本次调查使用的作业设备： - 4米钢制商用桁拖网，采用3/5节网垫式可翻起结构，网目尺寸75mm，符合CE认证标准，配备40mm内衬，左舷作业（PORT） - 4米钢制商用桁拖网，采用3/5节网垫式可翻起结构，网目尺寸75mm，符合CE认证标准，配备40mm内衬，右舷作业（STAR） 本次调查共完成58个站位的拖网作业，共捕获113个不同物种。
