本项目主要是处理中国太阳历史观测数据,数据来源于国内多家太阳观测站的历史观测资料。数据存在于纸质、胶片、胶板等观测资料主要进行扫描电子化使之以电子化的形式呈现。电子化产生的数据:1925-2015 年我国手描黑子图,1983 年巴布亚新几内亚日全食闪光谱底片,1958-1994年中国科学院国家天文台太阳射电流量计历史资料,1994-2014 年中国科学院国家天文台太阳射电频谱仪历史观测资料,1976-1985 年云南天文台太阳光谱磁场资料,1984-1993 年云南天文台太阳精细结构底片,1981-1994 年云南天文台全日面色球底片,1971-2001 年中国太阳地球物理资料,2000-2014 年重要太阳爆发事件资料集。项目中部分数据是电子化保存的数据,主要是对数据进行了科学级的数据处理,提供可以进行科学应用的数据。需要统一标准处理成科学级的数据包括:1987-2011 年北京怀柔太阳磁场观测数据,1987-2011 年北京怀柔太阳速度场观测数据,1999-2015 年太阳塔二维光谱观测数据。在整个项目数据处理过程中编制了各类数据处理软件并且形成了太阳物理数据标准化规范化报告。数据处理软件包括:太阳射电纸带观测资料的数字化、扫描图像的信息提取处理软件、可进行多种数据级别处理的软件、标准化的数据处理软件。太阳物理数据标准化规范化报告主要是参考国际标准结合具体数据处理过程来编写。
This project focuses on processing historical solar observation data from China, which is sourced from the historical observational records of multiple domestic solar observatories. Most of these observational records, stored on paper, photographic film, glass plates and other media, have been scanned and digitized to be presented in electronic form. The digitized datasets include:
1. Hand-drawn sunspot maps of China from 1925 to 2015;
2. Historical flash spectral plates of the 1983 total solar eclipse in Papua New Guinea;
3. Historical data of the solar radio flux meter from the National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC), 1958–1994;
4. Historical observational data of the solar radio spectrometer from NAOC, 1994–2014;
5. Solar spectral and magnetic field data from Yunnan Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1976–1985;
6. Solar fine structure photographic plates from Yunnan Astronomical Observatory, 1984–1993;
7. Full-disk chromospheric photographic plates from Yunnan Astronomical Observatory, 1981–1994;
8. Chinese solar geophysical data, 1971–2001;
9. Compilation of major solar eruption events, 2000–2014.
Some of the data in this project are already preserved in electronic format, and scientific-grade data processing has been conducted on them to produce data suitable for scientific applications. In addition, the scientific-grade data that require unified standard processing include:
1. Solar magnetic field observation data from Huairou Solar Observing Station, Beijing, 1987–2011;
2. Solar velocity field observation data from Huairou Solar Observing Station, Beijing, 1987–2011;
3. Two-dimensional spectroscopic observation data from the solar tower, 1999–2015.
Throughout the entire data processing workflow of this project, a variety of specialized data processing software have been developed, and a standardized and normalized report on solar physics data has been formulated. The developed data processing software includes: digitization software for solar radio paper tape observational data, information extraction and processing software for scanned images, software capable of performing multiple levels of data processing, and standardized data processing software. The standardized and normalized report on solar physics data is mainly compiled by referencing international standards combined with the specific procedures adopted in the data processing work.
