Dots and Lines: Co-Designing a Button-Controlled Non-Visual Digital Drawing Tool - Codes

This co-design investigated how a non-visual digital
button-based drawing tool should be created. A prototype was presented and six
blind and low vision participants, who all drew professionally, provided
feedback. Participants were able to draw points polygons, and lines, and were
able to review the shapes only using the keyboard. The conclusion is that
nothing like this exists, and there is a need for this prototype to be turned
into a full-fledged product.<br>

本协同设计研究旨在探索非视觉型基于数字按键的绘图工具的开发方案。本次研究展示了一款原型工具，并邀请了六位均为职业绘图从业者的盲人和低视力参与者提供反馈意见。参与者可绘制点、多边形与线条，且仅通过键盘即可预览所绘制的图形。研究结论显示，目前尚无同类工具，因此亟需将该原型开发为成熟的商用产品。
