Life history traits were measured under common-garden conditions on a set of families stemming from 14 populations of the freshwater snail Lymnaea stagnalis. Each family is identified in the file as G0 (wild-caught parent). A subset of laboratory-born G1s were followed from birth to adulthood. Shell size data were used to estimate growth parameters of the Gompertz model.Trait variance, within and among populations, was used to infer quantitative genetic differentiation (QST). Genotypic data were obtained from 12 microsatellite markers and used to infer population neutral differentiation (FST).

本数据集针对源自14个种群的淡水螺类静水椎实螺(Lymnaea stagnalis)的一系列家系,在同质园(common-garden)条件下测定了其生活史性状。文件中每个家系以G0(野外捕获的亲本)进行标识。对部分实验室繁育的G1代个体,从出生追踪至成年阶段。利用壳尺寸数据估算龚珀兹模型(Gompertz model)的生长参数。通过种群内与种群间的性状方差推断数量遗传分化(QST)。借助12个微卫星标记(microsatellite markers)获得的基因型数据,推断种群中性分化(FST)。
