Fungi associated with Fruit Tree Decline symptoms in Ontario, Canada

The project aims to study the fungi associated with Fruit Tree Decline symptoms in Canada. Fungi were isolated from symptomatic apple and stone fruit trees located in commercial orchards in Ontario, Canada. Fungal isolates were obtained from both single conidia and wood cankers. Pathogenicity tests were conducted to observe necrotic lesion development caused by the fungal isolates in the corresponding tree hosts.
