Geomorphological map

The project geomorphological mapping in the mountains was a comprehensive inventory and evaluation of landforms and areas in the mountain region. During the period 1975-1983, 17 reports and associated maps were produced. The reports describe the area and its terrain. There are also natural value assessments and the identification of geomorphologically valuable areas. The reports contain a lot of pictures and illustrations. The mapping is mainly based on aerial image interpretation (analog handling) of infrared aerial images on a scale of 1:60 000. The materials were supplemented with information from available literature and field checks. The field controls were concentrated on hard-to-class or interesting objects, but included spot checks. The data that are downloadable via this link are the geomorphological map sheets attached to each report. The maps are scanned and georectified to RT90 2.5gV. For optimal use of the material, the reports should be studied.The reports are available only in analogue form.
