This dataset with the __territorial delimitations for statistical purposes of the districts of the Canary Islands__ at the reference date, is __basic cartography__ used for the symbolic representation of geospatial statistics. The information is provided in the geodesic system of geographical coordinates __WGS84__ (World Geodetic System 1984, __SRID:4326__), used by the Canary Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), in several formats and with two generalisations (the one named as generalised in less detail).
